CGA was founded in 1986 to supply natural ingredients for a balanced diet

It focuses on the study of the fruit of the Carob tree (Ceratonia siliqua), a typical Mediterranean tree, opening two lines of research.

The first one focuses on the agronomic field, to optimize this crop; and led to the dedication of a country estate to the intensive cultivation of the carob tree.

The second, with the collaboration of important Centers of Research, on the study of the carob fruit from a nutritional point of view; we are the first company offering innovative products derived from it, with a particular interest in applications for human nutrition.
Starting our industrial project for the creation of a transforming p plant with our own laboratories, technical processes, R+D and quality control.

The agricultural project (Nº : EU-593), as well as the industrial (Nº : EU-594), have been classified as EUREKA Projects by the EU for their innovative potential.
